Organized in 1987,Evergreen Security, Inc. became the first licensed private security company in Maryland offeirng the highly skilled services of off-duty law enforcement officers. Evergreen provided a true alternative to mediocre, short and long term security personnel with inadequate training, credentials and performance standards.

As the company grew, the employee base was expanded to include active and former military personnel, college students and experienced security personnel. The need for professional investigative services covering a broad spectrum of client need soon became apparent. In response, an Investigations Division was added in 1989. Evergreen now offers a full range of investigative and surveillance services.

Our corporate headquarters, administrative operations and investigations division is located in Edgewood, Maryland, as is our security division. We serve clients in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Cecil, Harford, Howard and Montgomery Counties as well as in Baltimore City.

Evergreen provides both uniformed and plain clothes, armed and unarmed security. Contracts may be staffed by off-duty police officers, active and retired officers, traditional uniformed guards or combinations. Our staffing arrangements are developed around client preference and individual site requirements.
